RX-78GP01FB+ Gallery

Remodeled the head from the orignal MG Gp01. The One included in the CoreWorks kit was way to slim for my taste, other than that detailing on the shoulders, remodeled the open palm resin hand into a trigger hand, rifle supplied from an RX-78-4/5 kit as the included gun is just way too much for the GP01 to hold and must be posed in an upright position or braced with a stand. Speaking of standing, this kit was also modified and turned into a fix pose, after adding weights to the front I got it to balance without the use of the clear acrylic backpack support! Other mentions would be I changed the mounting of the boosters to the backpack and scratch-built the beam saber holders as I lost the original ones.

Originally the RX-81/LA/ST were designed by Kunio Okawara in his M-MSV MS Collection. Later in September 2009, Hajime Katoki redesigned the RX-81/LA/ST for use in the PS3 Game Gundam Senki UC 0081. Later via on-line DLC, the Assault Armor variant was released.

The RX-81LA was piloted by Commander Courand Hughes of the Earth Federation, Phantom Sweep platoon. Charged with the task of hunting down a group of Zeon remnants called the Invisible Knights. Later after arriving in Space Hughes pilots the RX-78-7 Gundam as the G-line series isn’t adapt for space combat…
